For the first time in five years, Carnival Cruise Line is changing its soda beverage partner from PepsiCo to The Coca-Cola Company, offering Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Powerade, Topo Chico, fairlife and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar to guests.
Carnival expects the transition to be completed across its North American fleet by the end of this September. Carnival ships in Australia already serve Coca-Cola products.
Once the transition is complete, Carnival Cruise Line guests will no longer be able to order Pepsi, Sierra Mist, bubly, Pure Leaf, Gatorade, MTN Dew or other PepsiCo beverages.
"Carnival Cruise Line and Coca-Cola are two iconic brands that celebrate fun, family, friendship, food and fabulous memories,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “We are excited to welcome back Coca-Cola's diverse lineup of beverages which our guests love and which will enhance the food and beverage experience that is always part of a great cruise vacation on Carnival. Both our brands are built on bringing people together making The Coca-Cola Company and Carnival Cruise Line a perfect partnership.”
Carnival Cruise Line also updated its Carnival Rewards program this June, no longer basing rewards off of nights sailed but on spend, connecting the loyalty program with spending with Barclays - the Carnival Rewards Mastercard.
