Now in its 11th year, the Travvy Awards honored the best-of-the-best of suppliers – and in an impressive number of categories – including travel insurance providers – during a gala event at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center on Nov. 7.
Importantly, the winners were selected by travel advisors, who are the true experts when it comes to judging the quality of any given supplier.

Since the pandemic, advisors have urged their clients to book travel insurance, which has greatly elevated the relevance of the travel insurance sector.
Gold Award
Allianz Partners captured the Gold for Best Insurance Provider Overall, and also took the top spot for Best Insurance Provider Customer Service for the 10th consecutive year.
It should come as no surprise that Allianz again received Gold in the two categories, as the insurance provides a multitude of benefits for travelers and their clients.
As a case in point, Allianz offers travel advisors and their clients key advantages, including, not limited to, comprehensive 24/7 assistance, financial protection against travel disruptions such as cancellation, baggage loss and delays, medical coverage, emergency assistance for emergency medical evacuation and much more.

The company also provides travel advisors with a portfolio of sales and marketing tools, including automatic emails and sales tracking tools – all with the aim of simplifying and enhancing the sales process.
Silver Award
Travel Insured International was yet again awarded Silver for Best Insurance Provider Overall and Silver for Best Insurance Provider Customer Service.
The company, which was founded in 1994, has a tried-and-true history of providing a wealth of insurance and assistance services for global travelers, including protection products with insurance benefits and non-insurance assistance services.
It’s Worldwide Trip Protector provides complete coverage for any given trip, including such services as trip cancellation and interruption, baggage protection, emergency medical expense coverage, evacuation and more.
The company’s partnerships with travel advisors are an essential part of its business. “Our dedicated sales team maintains strong agency relationships by working closely with travel agencies while our sales support team assists sales account managers and travel advisors,” the insurance provider said.
Bronze Award
