The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Porter Airlines have announced a new long-term partnership that makes Porter the Official Airline of the CFL team, further cementing the airline’s presence in the city and its growing operations at John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport.
As part of the agreement, the Tiger-Cats will fly exclusively with Porter for all away games this season, leveraging the convenience of their home airport. The deal also includes a broad set of fan engagement initiatives, in-stadium branding, and a future premium fan space at Tim Hortons Field.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Porter Airlines to the Tiger-Cats family and look forward to flying Porter throughout the season,” said Matt Afinec, President & Chief Operating Officer, Hamilton Sports Group.
“Porter’s investment in our team, our fans, and our city reflects their commitment to the region.”
Porter recently launched non-stop flights from Hamilton to several major Canadian cities including Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, and Vancouver — destinations that align closely with the CFL schedule and make travel easier for fans looking to support the team on the road.
