Red Sea Global, the real estate developer responsible for Saudi Arabia’s Shura Island, revealed that SLS Red Sea, EDITION Red Sea and InterContinental Red Sea Resort are slated to debut this month.
All told, Shura Island, located in the Tabuk Province on the Red Sea coast, will feature 11 resorts, with the remaining eight properties set to open in the coming months.
The companies set to open properties on the island include Faena, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Grand Hyatt, Jumeirah, Miraval Resorts and Spas, Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
Shura Links, the championship 18-hole golf course, is also set to welcome players, offering a world-class golfing experience,” Red Sea Global said.
SLS Red Sea will be equipped with 150 guestrooms and villas, including beachfront and overwater accommodations, along with “curated cultural, wellness and leisure experiences,” Red Sea Global said.
EDITION Red Sea will feature 240 guestrooms, including 53 suites, a diverse range of dining options, and access to watersports activities and golf courses.
InterContinental Red Sea Resort will boast 178 guestrooms and 32 suites, five dining options, a spa and meeting venues.
To access the island, which also includes luxury homes, guests travel by boat or the Shura Bridge, which, at a little over two-and-a-half miles, is said to be Saudi Arabia’s longest bridge.
