Riviera Travel is launching a new ship on the Mekong River.
The new vessel, Riviera Alba, will set sail in 2027, marking the brand’s expansion to Asia and its first ship outside of Europe.
“Riviera Travel has always been rooted in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, providing unmatched service and endless opportunities for discovery, so this is a natural evolution for us,” says Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel.
Riviera Alba will be able to accommodate up to 50 guests in 25 suites. The vessel will offer spaces such as an open-air sun deck with a jacuzzi and pool, a main restaurant serving international and authentic Asian cuisines, a lounge bar, a spa, a library and a coffee and tea lounge. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and a high crew-to-guest ratio.

The vessel will sail a new itinerary through Vietnam and Cambodia, with more than 14 guided experiences available during the voyage. Travelers can visit Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, explore the temples of Angkor and immerse themselves in smaller, lesser-known ports. The 13-night itinerary will have departures between September and December 2027, with rates starting at $5,049 per person.
In addition, bookings are now open for Riviera Travel’s 2027 season, including two new solo itineraries, “Budapest to the Black Sea” and “Cruise the Heart of Europe (Rhine, Main & Danube).” The company also recently announced that it will dedicate an entire vessel to solo travelers starting in 2027.
Travelers who book by November 16 can save up to 50 percent off the published brochure rates for 2027 itineraries. A two-for-one airfare credit is also now available on select 2026 departures when flights are booked through Riviera, valued at up to $1,500 per guest. This offer is available on new bookings made by December 5, 2025.
