Quark Expeditions recently hosted a travel advisor FAM trip featuring the winners of its 2024 Arctic Sweepstakes.
A group of 10 travel advisors and their guest joined business development manager Chris Catanzariti, business development manager on a cruise through the Arctic aboard Ultramarine. The ships sailed to 82 degrees north latitude, the farthest north it’s ever been. Quark also recently unveiled the 2025 sweepstakes winners.
“Our FAM voyages are designed to expand horizons, both literally and professionally,” says Catanzariti. “Standing on the deck at 82° North or witnessing wildlife few ever encounter gives advisors a perspective no brochure can capture. They return with a depth of understanding that allows them to guide clients with authenticity and passion, shaped by their own firsthand polar experiences.”
Travel advisors got to experience the Quark Expeditions brand from every angle. They participated in a pre-voyage inspection to learn about Ultramarine’s design, joined an exclusive meet-and-greet with the expedition team, participated in a seminar about Antarctica and enjoyed onboard credits at the Tundra Spa and wellness facilities.
They also participated in the polar plunge, watched a polar bear feed on a whale carcass and visited Alkefjellet and Jan Mayen.
“Truly, getting firsthand experience makes all the difference in any product I sell,” says Amy Angeli, a travel advisor with Savanti Travel. “I was able to organically fall in love with Quark through my experience.
