Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest independent hotel brand, welcomed 18 new member properties to its independent portfolio from April 1 through June 30, offering I Prefer Hotel Rewards members a new 2,500 bonus points for eligible stays at any of the new member properties.
The deal, eligible to both new and existing I Prefer rewards members, is valid for eligible stays at the new member properties when booked by September 30, 2025 for stays between July 3 and December 31, 2025.
One such new member is now part of Preferred’s L.V.X. Collection: the Castello di Velona Resort Thermal SPA & Winery in Montalcino, Italy. Located in scenic Tuscany, the spa retreat offers a stunning view of the surrounding countryside. With just 45 rooms and suites, the intimate restored medieval fortress provides hot springs, a full spa, two restaurants and its own winery for guests to enjoy.

Another new member of the L.V.X. Collection is the Imlauer Hotel Schloss Pichlarn, located below the beautiful Grimming mountain peak in the Austrian Alps. Offering 110 rooms and suites within a restored 11th-century castle, the hotel offers a championship golf course, hiking tours, wellness spa and plenty of outdoor experiences.
Part of the Lifestyle Collection is the Himalayas Hotel Shanghai. Located in the heart of the city’s Pudong district, the hotel offers access to the expo center, Century Park and the Shanghai Himalayas Center. Offering 412 rooms and suites, the hotel offers a spa, the Michelin-starred Shang-High Cuisine restaurant and presents a serene escape in the city.
