A new luxury all-inclusive resort is coming to the UNESCO-designated Biosphere Reserve island of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands this summer—called Paradisus by Meliá Fuerteventura.

Located on the island’s Sotavento Beach, the resort is the first luxury all-inclusive hotel on the island. It’s accepting reservations for stays beginning in mid-August.

The new resort’s “Wellness. Designed by Destination.” concept centers around a balanced lifestyle and personalized travel pace, inspired by the region and the guests themselves.

The resort will feature 361 rooms and suites when it opens, four swimming pools, tropical gardens, beach, the René Egli by Meliá watersports center, a Wellness for Families program, a full spa, daily programming and more.

Guests can choose The Reserve adults-only program to enjoy personalized concierge services, a private lounge, exclusive pools, dining experiences and more.

Guests will enjoy dining at the resort’s seven restaurants, including The Reserve-exclusive MAHOS restaurant, led by Chef Germán Ortega.

Paradisus Fuerteventura is also committed to supporting the island through partnerships, promotions and more, prioritizing regional products, sustainability and more.
