Global
travel distribution group and longtime host travel agency InteleTravel, has
announced the launch of a new mobile app, IntelePro.
The new mobile app enables travel advisors to manage client
travel bookings and work on the go. IntelePro offers all the comprehensive
booking options and trip management features available on its desktop booking
engine, focusing on user experience, security and compliance to ensure smooth
and safe transactions. Use of the new app includes the ability to book flights,
stays, rental cars, and events for customers, personalized reporting
dashboards, itinerary access and more.
“The days of stagnant offices are over, and almost
everything has adapted to an on-the-go lifestyle,” said James Ferrara,
president of InteleTravel in a statement. “Our IntelePro app will allow our
advisors to book travel and build their business from anywhere. As a host
agency, we understand how vital visiting new places and traveling are to
people, and now our advisors can do just that while still staying on top of
business.”
IntelePro is available for both Apple and Android mobile
devices. Within the first day of its release, InteleTravel’s team of in-house
developers reported the app showed over 10,000 downloads.
One month after its launch, by the end of July 2024, the app
had 23,332 downloads, nearly a quarter of the agency’s over 100,000 registered
advisors. The IntelePro app is also linked to InteleTravel’s
IntelePerks program, a rewards program for advisors using points and in the
first month after launch, 3.6 million points were awarded through the app.
By the end of 2024, InteleTravel plans to launch a mobile
app geared towards customers. While the current app is exclusively for
advisors, travel customers who have booked vacations and travel plans through
InteleTravel will soon be able to check their bookings and itineraries on their
mobile app, making for easier travel planning.
