Hodelpa Hotels, parent company of Emotions by Hodelpa, is proud to announce a major milestone in its ongoing sustainability efforts: more than 25,000 pounds of recyclable materials have been collected and properly processed across its properties during the first half of 2025.

As part of its commitment to responsible tourism and environmental care, Hodelpa Hotels recycled:

  • 60.19 lbs of paper
  • 1,287.96 lbs of plastic
  • 9,915.91 lbs of cardboard
  • 1,287.96 lbs of glass
  • 610 gallons of used vegetable oil

These results reflect the hotel group’s growing focus on eco-conscious operations and its dedication to making a positive impact in the communities it serves. By implementing strong recycling protocols, staff training, and partnerships with certified waste management providers, Hodelpa Hotels is helping reduce landfill waste and promote environmental awareness.

"We’re committed to preserving the beauty of the Dominican Republic, not just for today’s travelers but for future generations," said Yeine Duran, Sustainability Manager at Hodelpa Hotels. "These numbers are proof that sustainability and hospitality can go hand in hand."

From urban hotels to resort-style escapes, Hodelpa Hotels continues to lead by example, integrating green practices into every aspect of its operations.
