Discover Why Israel Will Be Your Clients' Favorite Mediterranean Destination

Learn How to Sell Israel

1/7
The Israel Ministry of Tourism has released its new Destination Specialist program made up of five modules that build a framework for tailoring travel in Israel for a variety of clients.

Topics include selling faith-based travel, multigenerational travel, heritage travel, culinary journeys and outdoor adventures.

Faith-Based Itineraries

2/7
The new Israel program offers a unit on crafting itineraries for Christian travelers and travelers with a general interest in the country's religious history. Travel advisors will learn the differences between Catholic and Protestant interests when traveling in Israel and will also discover ancient and biblical history.

Multigenerational and Heritage-Based Travel

3/7
A lot of visitors to Israel blend their desire to learn about the country's religious history with a discovery of their heritage, bringing their families along for the journey. Discover why Israel is an ideal destination for families and groups through this module that provides valuable information on utdoor, educational, and cultural/religious activities for multigenerational groups.

Culinary Journeys

4/7
Israel's multi-ethnic population has led to a fusion of culture and flavor that is best explored through the country's unique cuisine. An entire module is dedicated to helping travel advisors craft culturally focused and delicious journeys through Israel with information on the best restaurants, markets, museums, nightlife and more.

Outdoor Adventures

5/7
Are you clients ready for an adventure? This module is for you. Israel Destination Specialists will know where to book camel riding near Bedouin encampments, swimming with dolphins in the Red Sea, floating in the salty Dead Sea, hiking past archaeological ruins to the top of Masada at sunrise, birdwatching in Eastern Galilee, and rafting on the Jordan river can be enjoyed along with diving, biking, rock climbing, jeep touring and more.

How It Works

6/7
Travel advisors, taking the Israel Destination Specialist program must complete the Introduction Model. After that, they move to the advanced modules. For each advanced module completed, advisors earn a certificate in the subject. Complete all four and the introductory module, and travel advisors will receive the certification as an Israel Destination Specialist.
