Families can ride
the train like Gabby this summer due to Amtrak’s collaboration with
DreamWorks Animation global streaming series, Gabby’s Dollhouse.
As part of the partnership, families can enjoy more family fun
adventures exploring over 500 destinations across the U.S. where all
children ages 2-12 can ride for 50 percent off, with tots under two for free,
discovering the wonders of train travel with the help of Gabby.
The collaboration has also inspired a new spin on Amtrak’s
classic Jr. Conductor Book available for complimentary download or
limited-edition hard copies at four major stations across the country to
include Moynihan Train Hall in New York City, Chicago Union Station, Washington
Union Station, and Philadelphia William H. Gray III 30th Street Station.
The
new book is designed to help kids learn about the wonders of train travel by
exploring the inner workings of Amtrak along with the cat-tastic characters from
Gabby’s Dollhouse.
Created by storytellers Traci Paige Johnson (Blue’s Clues,
Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood) and Jennifer Twomey (Blue’s Clues, Team Umizoomi),
Gabby’s Dollhouse is a mixed media preschool series that unboxes a surprise
before entering a fantastical animated world full of cat characters that live
inside Gabby’s Dollhouse.
