Air Canada will add new flights to Europe this summer. The airline will fly to Stockholm from Montreal and Toronto and add year-round service to Madrid from Montreal.Starting June 14, 2024, the Montreal-Stockholm service will operate three times per week and Toronto-Stockhom routes will be available twice weekly. The flights are onboard Air Canada's Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with Signature Class service as well as premium economy and economy classes.

Montreal flights depart at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday with return flights departing Stockholm at 12:15 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Service from Toronto departs 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday and departs Stockholm for return flights Thursdays and Sundays at 12:15 p.m."We continue our strategy of building international scale at our Toronto and Montreal global hubs and we are very pleased to deepen Air Canada's longstanding presence in Northern Europe with the addition of flights to Stockholm,” said Mark Galardo, executive vice president, revenue and network planning at Air Canada.In addition to expanding into Sweden, Air Canada has also added year-round service from Montreal to Madrid. These flights operate beginning in May and will also be onboard Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with three classes of service. "Air Canada saw a tremendous rebound in international flying this past summer, particularly on the trans-Atlantic, and we expect Europe will remain popular next year," said Galardo. "In anticipation of this, we are expanding our flying schedule to offer customers more choice and flexibility as they begin to plan their 2024 holidays."
