AIC Hotel Group, a leader in redefining vacation experiences, today announced the appointment of Donna Smith as the new Director of Luxury Sales, USA & Canada. In her new role, Donna will lead luxury sales strategies across the USA and Canada for some of the most regarded properties within AIC Hotel Group’s portfolio, including Nobu Hotels Los Cabos, Miami, and Chicago, as well as Unico 20°87° Hotel Riviera Maya and UNICO 20º105º Hotel Vallarta.
With over two decades of experience in luxury sales, Donna brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and market expansion. Throughout her career, she has worked with world-renowned brands and led high-performing teams, making her an ideal fit to spearhead AIC Hotel Group’s luxury sales initiatives.

Donna’s extensive career includes significant roles at Palmaïa – The House of AïA, the Aruba Tourism Authority, and Island Destinations. She has also cultivated strong relationships with top-tier travel consortia such as Virtuoso, Signature, American Express FHR, Preferred Hotels and Resorts, and Travel Leaders. Through her innovative sales tactics and strategic account management, Donna has enhanced brand visibility and market share across luxury markets.
In her new role, Donna will leverage her deep expertise in relationship building and luxury market positioning to expand AIC Hotel Group’s luxury sales portfolio in North America. She will lead a talented team of experienced Sales Executives and work to further strengthen the company’s presence in the luxury travel segment.
